Award for Pantalan Del Med
The company that manages Pantalan De Mediterraneo Marina based on the Paseo Maritimo in the port of Palma has been awarded a prestigious prize by the magazine European Enterprise World.
This was for its pioneering work towards sustainable management within the nautical recreation sector, and its permanent commitment to protection of the environment. Last year the marina became the first Spanish port to obtain the certification "Zero CO2"for its carbon offsetting plolicies on enegery consumption, and has set the standard now followed by many other marinas, by achieving the ISO14001 certificate for environmental control of waste and pollutants etc.
Director Oscar Siches was recently presented with this important recognition in Madrid
Pantalan offers 62 moorings, of 20 to metres.
